I am a designer and product manager with over 8 years of games industry experience. I saw the promise of mobile F2P early, building first to market products while deconstructing the mechanics and economics of top grossing titles. I have worked in a leadership capacity for most of career, founding and growing teams.

In 2013 I wrote the book Free-to-Play: Making Money from Games You Give Away which was published by Pearson and later translated for both the Chinese and Korean markets. During this time I also provided consultancy services to the likes of Nexon and SEGA.

I have also written about games for Games Industry International, Develop Magazine, Edge, Gamasutra, PocketGamer.biz and the New Statesman.

I have a BA (Hons) Computer Games Design and play a lot of Magic: The Gathering.
